Green energy plays a vital role in our society to attain the energy transition, furthermore, it is necessary to analyse this energy source, and as such, at COTESA, an inventory is carried out of photovoltaic panels to estimate their individual and aggregate potential using artificial intelligence techniques.
Service developed by COTESA with the purpose of carrying out an inventory of photovoltaic panels to estimate their individual and aggregate potential using satellite imaging from diverse points throughout Spain
The panels are detected automatically and accurately as to geolocate them on the ground
The panels’ power potential is also detected individually through sets of panels and expressed as an aggregate
The product obtained is a file with a table of attributes in which the panel type, power rating and position can be queried
- The detection process is automatic and accurate.
- Multitemporal studies can be performed.
- It is possible to differentiate between each panel type according to its power rating.
